I have been battling with my skin the last year. I never imagined myself having this problem, 2 years ago. It happened.
From the age of 18 till 24, my skin was at its clearest and then my “beard” started growing intensely, which led to ingrown hairs. That I didn’t know how to handle until the last half-year.

I started to get laser hair treatment in May 2019 by @uniqueskinclinic_ , on my problematic areas. A treatment I was nervous to get, because of the many bad reviews I had read online. But a good conversation with Denisa from @uniqueskinclinic_ . Left me feeling safe in her hands. I have now gotten approximately 7 treatments (5 treatments in a row and 3 months break, now continuing – by choice). That has helped a lot. Can recommend this place for the ones living in Denmark. For people of color make sure to be sure that the machine that the clinics are using is approved for darker skin. Otherwise, you can be left with burned skin and dark patches.
Even though I’m getting skin laser treatment, taking care of my skin the right way is still important. I still get ingrown hairs (fewer for each laser treatment), that leads to dark spots.

Till I tried the skincare brand, The Ordinary (@deciem ). Which has worked wonders. I have since used the product, gotten rid of, most of my dark spots. The products I use in my night skincare routine have killed the bacteria in my ingrown bums, which means that it has cleared up my skin and prevented my bums to turn dark. Besides that, my skin routine has also helped brighten my dark areas.
I have listed my products below that I use for the night routine. I hope it helps someone out there with the same problem as me. As mentioned at the beginning of the post, this is not sponsored and is truly based on personal experiences. The Ordinary is the real tea ????
